Brand studio
A brand studio is a small team that both decides and makes. Most Studios is one: the people who write the positioning are the people who draw the identity and build the site, which is why nothing has to survive a handover between two companies that have never met.
Studio, agency, or consultancy
The three words get used interchangeably and they describe different things. A consultancy stops at the recommendation and leaves the interpretation to someone else. A large agency executes an idea it did not write, usually with a different team from the one that pitched. A studio is small enough that the same people stay on the work from the first question to the last file.
The trade is real and worth stating. A studio will not staff twelve markets at once. What it gives you instead is that the person you argued with in week two is the person choosing the typeface in week nine, and they remember why.
What the work covers
Brand strategy. Positioning, audience, the claim, messaging, and architecture, decided before anyone opens a design file.
Identity. The mark, the type, the colour, the motion, and the system that holds them together, built to be used by people who are not designers.
Digital. Websites and product surfaces, designed and built rather than specified and thrown over a wall.
Content. The film, photography, and sales material that puts the brand in front of someone.
How a project is shaped
Fixed-price phases rather than open-ended retainers. Each phase has a scope, an output, and a cost agreed before it starts, and ends in a decision you can take to a board rather than an invoice that keeps growing.
Most programmes open with a paid discovery phase. That is where the awkward questions get asked, and where scope, markets, and timeline get settled while changing them is still cheap.
What you are left with
An identity system in Figma with the components your team will reuse, guidelines written for someone making a decision without us, and a governance model that says what is fixed and who decides. We would rather build something your team can run than something that needs us every quarter.
Who we work with
Mostly B2B companies with something complicated to explain, from software and fintech to energy and industry, and larger organisations where the system has to hold across markets. IKEA, Klarna, Legora, Einride, Quinyx, GleSYS, Juni, and Tandem Health among them.
