Challenge
Padel is growing fast. The apps haven't kept up.
Padel has become one of the fastest-growing sports in Europe. New courts are opening constantly, new players are joining every week, and a community is forming around the sport that goes well beyond casual recreation. The market for padel platforms — booking, discovery, commerce — is active and competitive.
But the existing solutions were built narrowly. Booking platforms that don't think about community. Community tools that don't connect to commerce. Shopping experiences that live entirely outside the app. The result for players is fragmentation: multiple tools, multiple logins, multiple experiences that never quite add up to the one they actually want.
LeDap's ambition was clear: build the platform that brings it all together. Court booking, partner discovery, and a fully integrated padel shop — designed as a single, cohesive experience that serves the comprehensive needs of padel players at every level.
The challenge was building something that could compete meaningfully in a market with established players like Bookli and Matchi, without trying to out-feature them on their own terms. The differentiator had to be the experience itself.

What we did
Full app design — structured around five intuitive tabs
The engagement covered the full app design from concept through to detailed UI. The structural decision came first: rather than building a complex, layered navigation, we anchored the entire experience in five tabs that each own a distinct part of the padel journey.
Book puts court reservations front and center — with the added flexibility of partial court booking, making it easy to fill a slot without needing a full group confirmed in advance. Discover connects players by skill level and interest, and surfaces clubs and events in the area. Shop brings a curated padel retail experience directly into the app — rackets, shoes, apparel — without ever leaving the platform. News keeps the community connected to what's happening in the sport, from local club updates to international tournament coverage. Me brings it all together as a personal space for bookings, purchases, and social connections.
The design language throughout was built to reflect the energy and culture of the sport itself: clean and modern, but with enough personality to feel like it belongs in the padel world rather than a generic sports booking interface. Every interaction was designed to feel effortless — because the goal was never just functionality, but the sense that the app genuinely understands the player using it.

“With LeDap, we're not just creating an app — we're fostering a community. It's more than just making a reservation. It's about bringing people together to enjoy the spirit of padel.”

Result
A new standard for how sports apps can grow a community
LeDap launched as a genuinely comprehensive padel companion — one that treats booking, discovery, and commerce as parts of the same experience rather than separate products bolted together. In a sport defined by its community, an app that connects players as naturally as it books courts is the right foundation to grow from.
